Who we are
HijabSociety is an independent modest-fashion boutique operated by its founder from Italy. For questions about your data, write to hello@hijabsociety.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist or reserve a piece, together with which page you did it from and the name of any piece you reserved.
- Anything you write to us through the contact form or by email.
- Anonymous usage statistics — page views and referrers. Our analytics does not use cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not build a profile of you.
Why we collect it
To send you the emails you asked for, to respond to enquiries, and to understand which pieces people actually want so we know what to make. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box or submitting the form, and which you can withdraw at any time.
Who else sees it
Our email provider stores our mailing list on our behalf, and our hosting provider serves this site. They act on our instructions only. We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the list is no longer used. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@hijabsociety.com and we will action it within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
